Our story
It starts at home
Betna Akhdar was founded in late 2020 in Kas, South Darfur, by Ali Diab — out of the conviction that environmental and food change starts at home and in the neighbourhood before it reaches the national level.
What began as a small youth-led effort is now a growing community helping families across Sudan grow their own food, green their surroundings, and share what they learn.
