A family garden in Kas feeds the home
The family joined the home-gardens project after an introductory workshop in Kas. With help from our volunteers, they turned a small rooftop space into a garden producing tomatoes, okra, and rocket through the season.
The impact went beyond food: the children now help with planting and watering, and learned to make compost from kitchen scraps.

Working with the school administration, we set up a small teaching garden where students sow seeds and follow their growth. The garden became an open classroom for science and the environment.
